  Naturopathic Fitness
This is a concept that explores a brand new level of fitness and challenges health as we know it to be. Naturopathic fitness means that when the body has obtained and total wellness has been maintained, it then is ready to strive for balanced physical fitness. The concept is all encompassing of unity between body, mind and spirit. Both ideas are integral and necessary for the body for balanced wellbeing. This philosophy incorporates strength, endurance and flexibility equally. The body can be well without being fit, but the body can not be fit without first being well.

Personal Training and Conditioning Coaching

Training of the physical body is a continuous journey that combines strength, cardiovascular and flexibility training. All three are equally important for proper body balance. My eclectic philosophy incorporates tools that enhance body strength and stability through nutrition, core strength, circuit training, free weights, resistance bands, stability balls, calisthenics, plyo-metrics, agility drills, medicine balls, yoga, Power Plate and most important the breath.

My goals for each client:
--To educate each client in blood type nutrition that is tailored specifically to the goals of each person.
--To design challenging total body programs to help each client take their fitness to the next level.
--To encourage fun in all activities that we do.
--To help look and feel fit

Jessica’s Experience with Athletics and Goals for the Future

Athletics have been a priority in Jessica’s life starting as a small child, although her career in intense athletics began in high school. She participated in basketball, track & field, cross country, softball, and golf. She was a captain of softball, basketball, and both running teams. She was on a State Championship and State Runner-Up Basketball Team, as well as obtaining numerous all-conference awards in each softball, basketball, track, cross country and earning eleven varsity letters during her high school athletic career.
Even though her running career began her senior year of high school, as an attempt to get into shape, she excelled and went on to run in both State Track & Field and State Cross Country Meets during that year.  She was then recruited to the University of Minnesota as a distance runner, where she would then finish out her competitive athletic career. At Minnesota she earned multiple varsity letters, while maintaining Scholar-Athlete status all four years.

After graduating college a semester early, Jessica decided a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine would be next on her path of evolution. Her vision was not only to balance, but to combine both natural healing and the proper fitness tools so that athletes could optimize all aspects of being in peak physical shape. She strives to educate athletes as well as non-athletes on the ways of obtaining total body wellness, as well as total body fitness. Her goal is to eliminate the occurrence/need for illness and injury, by helping people identify their individual weaknesses and capitalize on their strengths.
